Fish Cast = focus on the book, Fish!

(Other books are Fish! Sticks and Fish! Tales.)

Assignment: Read Fish and email us your ideas of how this philosophy can be incorporated into ours.

Why this Book? Underlying philosophy of the book Fish! is the underlying philosophy of CMS.

We can help the Clubs use this product to help their clubs be better.

7 Steps of the Goodlife Fitness program is to add Fun.

Contributions from Consultants and CMS people:

Kevin and Raeanne Woycenko(CMS-CanPacific): (For original message, click here)
1. Have Fun!  Book was enjoyable and made us think about ways to make environment more fun. Philophies easier to implement in club atmosphere than our own. Their are only 2 of us.  We get to know our clients outside of the work environment. Emails, golf, lunch. Two concepts: Club Environment and Consultant Environment.

2. Make Their Day:  Send cards for Birthdays, Anniversaries, EMails, Club Anniversaries, etc.  Annual Client Golf Barbeque, Awards Ceremony. Club appreciation day.

3. Be There!  Be more attentive whether by phone or in person. Give all your focus to the person you are talking with.  Set up appointments.  Tough to play phone tag. Designated time you can focus completely.  Keep cell phone turned off when meeting in person.  In an open area, try not to look past the person with whom you are speaking.

4. Choose your Attitude.  Our attitude not only effects us but everyone around us.  Make sure we are positive.

2. Play:  Need to have fun. When we have fun, others around us will.

3. Make Their Day!  Remember Birthdays, send E-Cards, etc.

4. Be Present.  Make sure you focus on the person, even on the phone. Don’t try to multi-task doing email, etc.  Take notes while talking on the phone.  Maintain eye contact in person.  If distracted, reschedule appointment at a time you can focus.

Who is a CMS spark now?  How do you interface with your clients? Pick a good, positive mood. Identify spark.  Each person adds different elements.  Sparks ignite fires. Club cartoon books.  Club-Doc Calendar.  Fun Cybercasts ie: “How Not To Run The Front Desk”. Schedule reminders for events. Have Friday afternoon meetings. Have Friday be a generic “Fish Day”. Rotate which staff is in charge of “Fun” that week. Feedback is important.  Have questionaires on website.  Have “super” premium gifts for doing things well. Give gifts for good performance.
